These non-back cuts are perfect for nursing sessions or for a quick snack when you go. It only takes 10 minutes to collect them, and they are sure to fulfill your sweet desires in a fast, healthy way.
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup ground or grilled fish
3 tablespoons yeast
1 cup peanut butter or almond butter
1/2 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
In the bowl of the electric mixer attached to the pedal attachment, add all the ingredients except the chocolate chips. Mix on low speed until the mixture is well mixed. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Roll out into 2 tablespoon-sized smooth balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or enjoy now. Once cut, transfer them to an airtight container and refrigerate for 2 weeks.
The mixture can be pressed into an 8 × 8-inch baking dish and cut into bars if desired. Other optional additions: 1/2 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts) and 1/2 cup dried fruit
